Arbor Pediatrics - Winston-Salem, NC Position Summary The Lead LPN serves as a clinical resource and leader for the pediatric care team, providing hands-on patient care while supporting daily clinic operations. This role serves as a subject matter expert in pediatric care and Novant Health processes , providing guidance and support to LPNs and other clinical team members. The Lead LPN will help promote high-quality, safe, and efficient patient care while serving as a resource for questions, clinical workflows, and day-to-day operational needs. Leadership experience is strongly preferred. Pediatric/clinical experience strongly preferred. Leadership or lead-level experience strongly preferred. Ability to work independently while functioning effectively as part of a team . What You'll Do Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in pediatric clinical care and Novant Health processes, policies, and workflows. Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and support to LPNs and clinical team members. Serve as a resource for staff questions related to patient care, clinical workflows, and office procedures. Room patients, obtain vital signs, document patient information, and prepare patients for provider visits. Assist providers with examinations, treatments, procedures, and other pediatric clinical needs. Monitor expiration dates of medications, vaccines, supplies, and other clinical items and ensure expired products are removed appropriately. Assist with telephone triage and respond appropriately to patient and parent/caregiver questions within scope of practice.

What We're Looking For Education :

High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program required. Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of two years of demonstrated leadership, training, and process improvement. Experience in the physician office practice setting, required.

Licensure/Certification :

Current LPN licensure in appropriate state , required. Additional Skills (required) : Successful completion of generic and department-specifics skills validation, competency testing, and Basic Life Support.
