Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized LPN/Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations within our fast-paced medical office, providing patient care. The ideal candidate will be proficient in various medical software systems. Responsibilities Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with rooming of patients and taking vitals. Utilize eClinicalWorks for patient management tasks. Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice. Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures. Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment according to infection control standards. Educate patients and coordinate follow-up care as needed. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with clinic policies. Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork. Experience Current certification in Nebraska as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Previous experience in a medical office or clinic setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical administrative support functions, including office management tasks. Experience using eClinicalWorks software is highly desirable. Strong clerical skills with attention to detail and organizational abilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
