Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or RN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in long term care. This role requires a strong understanding of resident care protocols, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals. Experience with residents and knowledge of HIPAA regulations are highly valued. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Monitor resident vital signs and report any changes in condition. Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding resident care. Maintain accurate resident records using electronic health record systems- Point Click Care. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Assist with pain management strategies for residents. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance resident care outcomes. Experience Valid LPN or RN license in the state of practice. Previous experience in long term care preferred. Familiarity with care plans. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
