Job Description
RiverWoods Exeter is seeking a compassionate RN or LPN for our 3p-11p part-time shift. In this role, you will provide resident-centered nursing care in a continuing care retirement community, including medication administration, treatments, assessments, care planning, and documentation. You will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to support residents across varying levels of care, supervise support staff, respond to changes in condition, and communicate with families. Responsibilities Provide resident-centered nursing care for older adults across multiple levels of care Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and facility protocols Perform ongoing resident assessments and monitor for changes in condition Document care, assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in the medical record Develop, update, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team Supervise and support nursing assistants and other support staff on the unit Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team Respond to emergencies and acute changes, following clinical and safety protocols Promote a safe, respectful, and compassionate environment for residents and staff Participate in quality improvement, training, and compliance initiatives Required Skills Patient assessment Medication administration Wound care Care planning Electronic medical records (EMR) documentation IV therapy and injections Infection prevention and control Supervision of nursing assistants Vital signs monitoring and interpretation Emergency response and triage
