Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Licensed nursing professionals, here's an opportunity to provide specialized support to a student in need at a year-round educational program near Manchester, NH. This contract role is ideal for a compassionate and experienced LPN or RN, ready to work 20 hours per week and make a significant difference in a student's daily school experience. In this position, you will: Travel on a van with a medically fragile, non-verbal student with motor and developmental delays, as well as mobility challenges. Accompany the student to an out-of-district school in Massachusetts, ensuring their safety and well-being during transit. Start the day by meeting the student at their home at 7:20AM for pick-up and provide care during the morning commute to school. You will be dropped back off at the student's home around 9:30AM, and return for the afternoon pick-up at 1:30PM. Begin this assignment with the summer session on July 6, with potential to continue into the upcoming school year. What you'll need: Active RN or LPN license for the state of New Hampshire. Prior experience in a school nursing or similar pediatric setting is highly desirable. Strong ability to respond calmly and effectively in medical situations with medically intensive students. Reliability and punctuality, with commitment to the set schedule. Compassion for children with mobility, motor, and developmental challenges.
