School LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) | Merrimack, New Hampshire Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Merrimack, NH Job Details Part-time 20 hours ago Qualifications LPN Full Job Description Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Embrace an impactful and supportive role assisting a student through their school commute as a contract LPN. Perfect for nurses seeking part-time, rewarding work, this role focuses exclusively on transportation—no classroom duties—ensuring a student's safety and well-being during their travel to and from school. The schedule follows both the Extended School Year (ESY) from July 6 to August 9 (Monday-Thursday), and the full academic year for 2026-2027. Expect an average of 3-4 hours per day, 15-20 hours per week. Each day, you'll accompany the student during morning pick-up around 7:25 a.m. and return home by 9:30 a.m., then support afternoon pick-up at 1 p.m. The student faces mobility challenges and communicates using an AAC device; your compassionate, attentive care will make a meaningful difference in their day.
Qualifications:
Active LPN/LVN license in New Hampshire Experience supporting special needs or non-verbal students a plus Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Comfortable with transport and mobility assistance Ability to meet all school onboarding requirements, including fingerprint clearance
Responsibilities:
Ensure the student's safety and well-being during transport Assist with mobility challenges, as needed Provide routine health monitoring and immediate medical attention if needed Coordinate with district staff and families regarding student needs
