Job Description

We are seeking nurses who desire to work within our residential treatment center. The ideal candidates would preferably, yet not necessarily, have a working knowledge of eating disorders and related psychiatric and medical treatment interventions.
Schedule:
Overnight 7:00pm - 7:30am, 2 nights a week Every Sunday night and 1 other revolving night 25 hours/week
Nurse Responsibilities:
Complete nursing assessment and nursing plan of care upon admission Complete weekly nursing assignments and pain assessment Administer all medications Work closely with the Medical and Psychiatric provider in carrying out all orders Schedule appropriate appointments (e.g., lab, radiology, bone density) for the patients Evaluate all weekly lab results and communicate them to Medical/Psychiatric provider Work closely with the clinical team in implementing treatment interventions Provide meal support to patients. Provide psychiatric support Converse with family members Maintain timely documentation within the EMR Dispense medication according to sound practices Communicate in real time with various department personnel Maintain a positive team atmosphere and approach within the treatment setting
Qualifications:
Valid New Jersey RN or LPN state license Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; ADN, BSN or AAS degree is preferred Previous experience in behavioral health, eating disorders and working with adolescent populations is preferred Ability to facilitate a calm demeanor within the milieu Current BLS certification
Pay :
LPN $35.00 - $39.00 per hour RN $41.00-$45.00 per hour Night shift differential
