Key Qualifications & Experience:

Current and valid LPN or LVN license Prior experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred Sound knowledge of common pediatric health concerns, first aid, and medication administration Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to emergencies Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide routine nursing care and health assessments to students Administer medication and manage chronic health conditions according to healthcare plans Document health histories and care provided in compliance with school and state protocols Respond to sickness, injuries, and emergencies, initiating care and notifying appropriate parties Educate students and staff on health topics such as hygiene, nutrition, and wellness Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student well-being As a valued member of the school community, you'll enjoy the opportunity to create meaningful connections while utilizing your nursing skills in a unique environment.
