Full Job Description Weekend Nurse LPN/RN Job Summary:
We are seeking reliable and compassionate Nurses to join our exceptional nursing team at Elizabeth Nursing & Rehab Center. As an LPN/RN in our skilled nursing facility, you will play a key role in providing direct patient care, supporting residents' daily health needs, and working collaboratively with our nursing and rehabilitation staff. Our center is committed to providing a great work environment, and we are looking for dedicated professionals to join our team!
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans and physician instructions Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely Monitor residents' health status and report changes to RNs and physicians Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to ensure quality care delivery Document all care provided and ensure records are up to date and accurate Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory policies Support residents' emotional and physical well-being through respectful and attentive care Respond to emergencies promptly and appropriately Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Valid LPN or RN license in the state of New Jersey( or a compact license) Current CPR certification (required) Long-term care or rehabilitation facility experience (preferred) Excellent clinical and documentation skills Strong communication and teamwork abilities Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to resident-centered care
