LPN 1:1 PEDIATRIC SCHOOL CASE

EXCEPTIONAL LPN NEEDED FOR A PEDIATRIC CLIENT WITH A G TUBE. WILL RIDE BUS TO SCHOOL AND SPEND SCHOOL DAY WITH CLIENT ASSESSING AND ADMINISTERING MEDICATIONS AND TUBE FEEDINGS PER PHYSICIAN ORDERS. MUST HAVE GOOD ASSESSMENT & DOCUMENTATION SKILLS, MAINTAIN HIPAA STANDARDS AND WORK WELL WITH OTHER MEMBERS OF THE EDUCATION TEAM IN GROUP SETTING.

Prospective staff will need to undergo fingerprinting by the NJ Office of Student Protection Provide a physical within the past year Provide a PPD result/or TB interferon/gold result within the past year. CPR certification Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care tailored to each child's specific medical requirements, including medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and assessments. Collaborate closely with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote student well-being. Maintain accurate medical documentation using electronic health record (EHR) ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Respond promptly to emergencies or acute changes in condition, Experience Valid LPN license with current state licensure required; prior experience working with pediatric populations strongly preferred. Prior work experience in school health services or home & community care settings is advantageous. Strong understanding of infection control practices, medication administration protocols, and HIPAA compliance standards.
