1st Americare is seeking an RN or LPN to work with our clients in the West Orange, NJ area as a home health nurse. In this role, you will provide high-quality care to our patient in a home setting, working overnight shifts to ensure their comfort and well-being.
Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our home healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care during the night shift. You will work closely with the patient and their family, providing support and medical care in a home setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's physician. Monitor the patient's vital signs, manage medical equipment, and assess overall health status. Assist with activities of daily living and provide support with positioning. Collaborate with the patient's family to ensure effective care and comfort. Document all care activities, observations, and changes in the patient's condition accurately. Respond promptly to any medical emergencies or changes in the patient's condition.
Qualifications:
Valid and active LPN license in the state of New Jersey. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility and professionalism. Flexibility to work overnight shifts as required.
