Based on office needs some days will be working and doing direct patient care other days will be working in an administrative nursing role. We are a physician-owned practice with low physician turnover and are looking for someone dependable, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced outpatient setting. Experience in a medical office is preferred. Competitive salary and benefits offered. This position is best suited for a candidate who: enjoys working directly with children and families works well independently and as part of a team is reliable and punctual can maintain efficiency and professionalism during busy clinic sessions is looking for a stable long-term position Our LPNs are responsible for: getting patients ready for the provider measuring heights, weights and head circumferences of babies, children and teens on non-digital scale, taking manual vital signs (blood pressure, pulse and respiratory rate). Ability to take manual blood pressure is required! drawing up immunizations Assisting physicians during visits and procedures Point-of-care strep, flu and COVID testing EMR documentation Managing clinical workflow and patient communication Triaging patient phone calls Addressing concerning lab results Clerical duties include: completing health forms validating insurance scheduling appointments checking in patients completing prior authorizations
Requirements:
Prior experience preferred Pediatric or outpatient office experience strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills EMR experience preferred Position is Monday through Friday, 8am to 5 pm. Must be able to start at 8am. We offer a supportive team environment, consistent scheduling, and a stable private practice setting.
