Job Description
Ro Health is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at a correctional facility in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico This position plays a vital role in providing essential healthcare services to incarcerated individuals, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and therapeutic environment within the facility.

at least 3 days/week, 12-hour shifts Must be available on weekendsEmployment Type:
Contract Pay:
higher pay for travelers who are 50 or more miles away from the facility!Qualifications:
Active New Mexico Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (in good standing) or compact license BLS Certification from the American Heart Association Ability to pass a strict background checkKey Responsibilities:
Administer medications, including oral, topical, and intramuscular injections, as prescribed Monitor and record patient vital signs, reporting any abnormalities to RNs or medical providers Assist with wound care, dressing changes, and basic medical treatments Support patient mobility, hygiene, and activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed Conduct health screenings and collect patient medical history Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or CPR as necessary Ensure proper infection control procedures and maintain a clean, safe environment Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and mental health providers to coordinate patient care Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records Why Join Ro Health?
