Job Description

Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as an LPN nurse near Blue Diamond, NV. This full-time assignment (40 hours per week) will have you working one-on-one with a student requiring trach care at the elementary level, providing essential medical support in a school environment for the duration of the school year, beginning as soon as possible and running through late May.
Qualifications and Required Experience:
Active Nurse Licensure as an LPN/LVN Current CPR/BLS certification Experience working in pediatric or school settings, especially with medically fragile students, is preferred Ability to perform 1:1 care for a student with a tracheostomy Must complete a district background check and a 10-panel drug screen promptly
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized, attentive care to a single elementary-age student throughout the school day Monitor, assess, and document the student's health status and interventions Collaborate closely with school staff, the student's family, and healthcare providers to support the student's individualized care plan Ensure equipment readiness and respond swiftly to medical needs or emergencies Foster a safe, positive environment that promotes the student's well-being and participation in school activities
