Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program in preparation for nurse licensure/registration. Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse licensed in Nevada. BLS Certification. A minimum of two years full-time or equivalent of clinical experience in long-term care nursing with one year in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity. Previous experience in teaching is recommended. Ability to pass a fingerprint-based background check. Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
Position Summary:
As the Admissions Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you fulfill a vital role as a liaison between hospitals and our facility, facilitating seamless transitions for patients. Your primary objective is to enhance the quality of care through comprehensive pre-admission preparation, elevate customer service for new residents, and reduce the risk of re-hospitalization during the initial 30 days of their stay. Your responsibilities extend beyond this core mission to include other assigned duties that contribute to the overall success of our healthcare team.
