$1,410.12 Weekly Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical setting. The LPN will work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care, administer treatments, and ensure positive patient outcomes. This position is ideal for a motivated nursing professional with strong Med-Surg experience and proficiency in electronic medical records. Responsibilities Patient Care Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or healthcare provider. Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment. Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards. Assist patients with activities of daily living while promoting comfort, safety, and dignity. Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to the appropriate healthcare team members. Clinical Support Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Perform routine nursing procedures and treatments within the scope of LPN practice. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system. Support interdisciplinary care planning and patient education initiatives. Compliance & Quality Adhere to infection prevention protocols, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with organizational policies and procedures. Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives as assigned. Required Qualifications Licensure & Certifications Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. Experience Minimum one (1) year of recent Medical-Surgical nursing experience required. Experience using EPIC electronic medical record system required. Required Skills Strong Medical-Surgical nursing knowledge and clinical skills. Ability to assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with the healthcare team. Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation. Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
