Providing Short-term Rehabilitation and Long-term Care, our dedicated and seasoned team remain focused on the principles of safety, kindness and compassion. It is our privilege to foster an environment, where individuality and dignity are preserved, appreciated and honored. Sunnyside Care Center is actively looking for LPNs to join our nursing team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care and support to patients. The LPN will also assist in maintaining high standards of patient safety, privacy, care and cleanliness. Previous experience in a medical setting and/or as a Licensed Practical Nurse is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
Set up a safe environment for patients. Provide effective nursing care to patients. Provide emotional support to patients and their families. Report changes in patient's conditions to physician or registered nurse. Discharge patients and assist in transportation if needed. Record observations and vital signs. Inform physicians of patient's progress and of any problems that require their attention. Arrange for special services (i.e. meals) for the patient if necessary. Any other duties as assigned by the
