Medical Assisting LPN Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Hiring LPN/MA Summary of Duties:
Responsible for all aspects of clinical care in a primary care setting. Assist the providers in the treatment of patients with daily tasks including daily huddle with provider, preparing charts (on EMR) for the patient visit, paperwork, rooming patients, creating lab requisitions, and calling patients with test results as directed by the provider and all other duties as assigned. Job requires the ability to stand and walk for a large portion of the day.Schedule would be:
Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation. Hours would be 8:30a-5p or 8a-4:30pm.Skills:
Requires knowledge of individual's professional scope of license/certification as well as medical office experience. Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse population of patients, Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations, as well as the ability to interpret, adapt and apply guidelines and procedures. The ability to prioritize, be proactive and expedite patient flow is required. Must be a team player, be respectful of other coworkers, have a positive attitude, and able to move from one task to another fluidly and with ease, willing to pitch in and help all providers and all other clinical staff.Experience:
In office experience preferred.Education:
LPN:
Graduation from a licensed LPN program with current NYS License. Starting at $21/hr (pay rate commensurate with experience)MA:
Certified Medical Assistant ( CMA) preferred Starting at $18/hr (pay rate commensurate with experience)Job Type:
