Key Qualifications & Skills:

Current and valid LPN or RN license Demonstrated experience in school nursing, pediatric healthcare, or 1:1 care Proficiency with insulin pump operation and blood glucose reading Knowledge of diabetes management protocols Excellent communication and teamwork skills Adaptability and compassion in working with young children

Daily Responsibilities:

Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care to a preschool-aged student with diabetes Monitor blood glucose levels and manage insulin pump therapy Administer medications per physician orders and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with the classroom teacher and aide to support the student's daily routine Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment Communicate effectively with staff and family regarding the student's health needs Enjoy the stability of a Monday through Friday schedule, from 7:45am to 2:55pm.
