LPN - LTC - Local Contract

WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurses for a full time role at Long Term care facility located in Westchester County. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides nursing care activities to residents of the Home under the direction and supervision of the Director of Nursing and Nurse Supervisor. Using detailed standard procedures and as directed by physician and/or registered nurses, they treat residents for a variety of maladies to assist in maintaining resident health, preventing, and curing illness and injury, and alleviating suffering. LPNs also observe residents through the duration of their treatment to obtain information on the physician conditions of such residents.

Job Function:

Monitors residents' conditions, records vital signs, and reports changes to the RN or physician. Administers medications and treatments, including injections, wound care, and IV monitoring, as prescribed. Assists with daily living activities such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and transporting residents. Maintains accurate charts, records, and documentation of care, treatments, and observations. Ensures a clean, safe environment by managing supplies, changing linens, and following safety and compliance protocols.

Job Requirements:

1 year of post-licenseure experience Experience with the geriatric population in a long term care setting Experience working with the veteran populations
