Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4pm. Our camp medical office attends to campers and staff who are in need of medical attention throughout the day. Candidates must be able to calmly and kindly interact with those in need of care. Candidate must be able to determine, in consultation with the Camp Director, whether an illness/injury warrants activation of the EMS system. Candidate must be able to speak calmly and professionally with parents about their child's illness or injury. Candidate must be aware of and assist with daily medications that camper's self-administer. Ability to keep accurate, neat, and thorough records in the Medical Log Book is essential. Requirements Certification as an RN or LPN is required. Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is essential. Experience in emergency medicine is preferred. Familiarity with protocols for urgent care and trauma response. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure. A commitment to providing compassionate patient care. Position is Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 4pm. Daily lunch is provided.
