Job Summary:
The Clinic LPN provides care for patients in an ambulatory, family care setting under the supervision of a licensed registered nurse, mid-level practitioner or physician. The Clinic LPN or Medical Assistant performs tasks and responsibilities within the framework of case finding, health teaching, health counseling, and provision of supportive and restorative care under the direction of a registered professional nurse, licensed physician, or other select licensed authorized health care provider. The Clinic LPN ensures that compassionate, engaged care meets or exceeds quality standards. Care is provided in an efficient and safe manner consistent with the NYS licensure and CHMC standard of care. Will be required to float to other Health Centers as needed. Scheduled shifts will fluctuate and vary dependent on operational needs; shift start and end times will range accordingly from 7:00am-7:00pm. The schedule may include up to two weekends per month.Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalency required. Valid NYS LPN license (if an LPN). BLS certification (infant, child and adult CPR) required; Current CPR certification. NYS Driver's license required. Sustained efforts to maintain the current knowledge base regarding professional and practice issues.Requirements:
