Job Description
Angels on Call Homecare is a premier licensed home care services agency based in Peekskill, NY, serving communities throughout New York State, including Bronx, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster, and Westchester Counties. We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct care services within our community-based per diem placements. Candidates must hold a valid New York State RN or LPN license. These are one-on-one assignments with individuals in the community who require professional nursing support across a range of settings. Services may include direct patient care, medication administration and management, facility support, injections, and other skilled nursing tasks tailored to client needs. Per diem assignments offer flexibility, allowing clinicians to select shifts based on availability and decline cases when needed. Schedule Per diem community-based placements Flexible scheduling; varies by assignment Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay: $50/hour Weekly pay Paid Sick Leave in accordance with New York State law (1 hour accrued per 30 hours worked) Health Insurance available after 90 days of full-time employment (Angels on Call covers 75% of premium) 401(k) Retirement Plan with company match (Eligible after 1 year of employment and 1,000 hours worked) NYS Disability Benefits NYS Paid Family Leave Opportunities for professional growth and leadership developmentRequired Qualifications Valid New York State RN or LPN license Documentation Required at Hire Candidates must provide the following upon onboarding: Proof of current flu vaccination Proof of MMR vaccination, including reference ranges Annual physical examination within the past 365 days, signed and stamped by a physician indicating fitness for duty Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification CPR Certification Proof of Medical Malpractice Insurance (Minimum coverage: $1,000,000 per incident / $6,000,000 aggregate) Tuberculosis screening, documented by one of the following: Quantiferon blood test within the past 9 months Two-step PPD testing (one within 30 days and one within 365 days) If positive, a chest X-ray within the past 5 years or physician clearanceAngels on Call is committed to supporting skilled nursing professionals who deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in community settings.
