Licensed Practical Nurse - ALL SHIFTS

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing quality patient care, particularly for individuals with developmental disabilities and those requiring urgent care. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and safety. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Assist in the management of patients with infectious diseases, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols. Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients. Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their independence and well-being. Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the supervising nurse or physician. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records within healthcare systems. Participate in travel nursing assignments as needed, providing care in various settings. Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention. Experience Current LPN license in good standing. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with urgent care practices and infectious disease management is advantageous. Proficiency in patient assessment techniques and infection control measures. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.
