Available ShiftsPart-Time Day Shift:
7:00 AM 3:00 PM (23 days per week)
Part-Time Evening Shift:
3:00 PM 11:00 PM (23 days per week)
Per Diem:
All shifts available
Key ResponsibilitiesMedication Management:
Supervise, prepare, and accurately assist residents with self-administration of prescribed medications. Organize medication carts for maximum safety and efficiency.
Clinical Supervision:
Coordinate daily resident care delivery and assist the Director of Nursing in setting high standards of clinical excellence.
Resident Assessment:
Interview and examine residents to monitor health status or behavioral changes; recommend care plan adjustments as needed.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate, confidential resident records, including medication administration records (MARs) and incident reports.
Collaboration:
Assist physicians during examinations, manage follow-up appointments, and clearly communicate care plans to families and staff.
Qualifications & RequirementsLicensure:
Current, active New York State LPN License.
Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar clinical nursing role; a background in retirement living, assisted living, or home care is highly preferred.
Communication:
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English. Excellent verbal skills and a warm, positive attitude are required.
Technical Skills:
Strong computer skills for electronic medical charting.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, bend at the waist, and lift/carry objects weighing over 25 lbs.
Compliance:
Must successfully pass a criminal background check, including fingerprinting.
