Patient interaction Critical care experience Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals and clinics. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in supporting patients' health needs, assisting with medical procedures, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Duties Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Assist in the management of patients' medical records while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse. Support airway management and tube feeding procedures as necessary. Engage in health coaching to promote wellness and educate patients on managing their health conditions. Document patient interactions and care provided accurately in medical records. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, particularly for pediatric and critical care patients. Apply knowledge of physiology to assess patient needs effectively. Qualifications Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice. Experience or knowledge in ophthalmology is preferred but not required. Familiarity with airway management techniques is a plus. Previous experience in pediatrics or critical care settings is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medical records management and HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and compassion.
