Job Description

Qualifications:
An LPN must be a graduate of an accredited school for Licensed Practical Nurses, currently licensed in the State of Ohio and BLS certified. A Medical Assistant must hold a high school diploma or GED and BLS certified. Graduate from an accredited school for Medical Assistant or proof of certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
Responsibilities:
An LPN is responsible to adhering to all standards of nursing practice and for managing supplies and equipment with the direction of the provider, department manager or RN in charge. The LPN will promote teamwork with physicians and personnel of other departments. The LPN will follow orders for care and treatment of the patient and will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital. A Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting providers in providing direct patient care. A Medical Assistant will adhere to the policies and procedures of Henry County Hospital.
