Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individuals to provide high-quality care to our residents in a supportive and nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health settings, and will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities and memory care requirements. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Monitor and document vital signs, ensuring accurate medical records are maintained in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide compassionate care to residents with Alzheimer's and dementia, utilizing effective communication techniques. Operate equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely to assist residents with mobility challenges. Engage in cleaning duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for residents. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident. Participate in ongoing training to enhance caregiving skills and stay updated on best practices in senior care. Qualifications Experience working in long-term care facilities or home health settings is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with CPR techniques is essential. Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to work independently. A commitment to providing high-quality patient care while respecting the dignity and privacy of all residents.
