Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into an impactful role dedicated to supporting a high school student's well-being and success by providing 1:1 nursing services throughout the school day. Key Qualifications:

Valid LPN or LVN license, eligible to practice in Ohio Experience working with pediatric or adolescent populations preferred Familiarity with school settings, IEPs, and 1:1 care strongly valued Strong clinical knowledge of orthopedic, respiratory, urological, and gastroenterological care Ability to respond calmly and competently to medical emergencies Excellent communication and documentation abilities Compassionate and patient-centered mindset, with sensitivity to student privacy

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide dedicated 1:1 nursing support during the full school day for a student whose IEP requires nurse services Monitor and deliver care for the student's orthopedic, respiratory, urological, and gastroenterological health needs Maintain accurate health records and ensure all interventions are documented in accordance with school and legal guidelines Support the student's participation in classroom, meals, and school activities while ensuring medical safety Collaborate with educators, support staff, and healthcare professionals as needed to promote an inclusive, healthy school experience Educate school personnel and families as appropriate on relevant aspects of the student's healthcare plan This contract begins as soon as possible and runs through May 28, 2027, offering a steady, rewarding position with approximately 37.5 hours per week during the academic year.
