  • Part-time, Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist with medical procedures, and support the nursing staff in delivering exceptional service to patients in various settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to patient well-being and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians Conduct patient assessments and monitor vital signs Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans Provide support for patients with chronic illnesses, disabilities, or special needs Perform basic medical procedures such as IV insertion, catheter care, and wound dressing Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care for patients Educate patients and their families about health management and wellness strategies Participate in discharge planning and follow-up care coordination Skills Candidates should possess a variety of skills that enhance their ability to provide excellent patient care.
Preferred skills include:
Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks) Critical care experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers Knowledge of ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems Proficiency in phlebotomy, medication administration, and basic life support techniques Familiarity with geriatrics, dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and hospice care practices Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in home care settings Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and manage acute pain effectively We encourage LPNs who are passionate about providing quality healthcare to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
