Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our night shift team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care, assist in medical procedures, and support the healthcare team. This role requires a strong understanding of patient assessment, medication administration, and effective communication with patients and their families. Responsibilities Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses or physicians. Perform routine assessments and document vital signs, medical history, and patient progress. Administer medications and injections as prescribed while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Assist with IV infusion and catheter care, including IV insertion and venipuncture. Support patients in acute pain management and assist with physical examinations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Educate patients and families on health management, medication administration, and post-care instructions. Participate in discharge planning and case management for optimal patient outcomes. Requirements Valid LPN license in the state of Oklahoma. Experience in critical care, long-term care, or assisted living is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS). Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or in hospice care is a plus. Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to infection control protocols.
