Duration:
6-12 months, with option to extend (maximum 12 months total)
Schedule:
12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
Pay Rate:
$37.00-$42.00 per hour Position Summary We are seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide direct and indirect nursing care in a correctional facility medical clinic in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Key Responsibilities Provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients in a correctional facility medical clinic. Obtain and document vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure. Perform routine and specialized nursing procedures within the scope of LPN licensure. Administer medications and treatments as ordered by authorized healthcare providers. Monitor patients and participate in evaluating their responses to nursing interventions. Assist with assessing, reporting, and documenting patients' health status. Participate in developing and implementing appropriate aspects of individualized plans of care. Accurately document nursing care, patient conditions, medications, and interventions. Report significant changes in patient condition to the appropriate supervisor or healthcare team member. Follow established nursing, safety, infection-control, and correctional-facility procedures. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, dentists, and other members of the healthcare team. Provide guidance and training to others on routine nursing tasks, as appropriate to experience level. Maintain professional standards and patient confidentiality at all times. License:
LPN Level I Active Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Compact state. Ability to perform nursing duties safely and effectively under professional supervision. Willingness to work in a correctional healthcare environment. LPN Level II Active Oklahoma Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Compact state. At least 1-2 year of practical nursing experience ; or BLS or CPR Certification.
Pay:
