This position will be mainly at the Moore location but will need to be flexible and willing to work at the Norman & Noble location as well. This position will work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, & Friday from 6:45am to 5:00pm. We are looking for someone who has great clinical skills, is friendly, and pays attention to detail. The candidate should have a record of dependability. Computer experience is expected; a knowledge of EMR systems is helpful. 1 year clinical experience is preferred. ER background a plus. This position could include supervisory responsibility. A partial list of duties would include Escort patients to exam rooms. Obtain and accurately record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, height, weight). Collect and document comprehensive patient histories, including chief complaint, current medications, allergies, and past medical history. Assist providers with examinations and procedures, including physicals. Collect and label specimens (urine, blood, swabs, etc). Perform x-rays and EKGs, as needed. Administer medications (injections, oral medications, etc) as directed by the provider, ensuring proper dosage. Clean and sterilize medical instruments and equipment. Keep exam rooms cleaned & organized.. Maintain organized and stocked exam rooms and treatment areas. Accurately and thoroughly document all patient interactions, vital signs, procedures, and observations in the HER. Other duties as assigned. Pay is competitive and based on education and experience.
