Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team within Cherokee Nation. This is an excellent contract opportunity for a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled LPN who is committed to delivering high-quality patient care in a community-focused healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care. Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly to the appropriate healthcare team. Administer medications and treatments within scope of practice. Obtain and document vital signs, patient histories, and clinical observations. Assist providers and registered nurses with examinations, treatments, and procedures. Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and follow-up instructions. Follow infection-control, safety, and facility policies. Collaborate effectively with physicians, RNs, healthcare staff, and other members of the care team. Maintain patient confidentiality and professional standards at all times. Candidate Qualifications Current, active LPN/LVN license appropriate for the assignment. Recent clinical LPN experience preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and professionalism. Current BLS certification preferred/required if specified by the facility. #Workwolf
