We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LPN for our Patient Triage for Walk-In Clinic Provider. The Triage Nurse will play a crucial role in assessing patients' needs, prioritizing care based on urgency, and providing initial medical guidance. This position requires a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Train medical staff for the same day clinic flow. Collaboration of Sophia machines clinic wide. Triage and PHN coverage when needed. AHA BLS instructions. Testing for Flu, Covid, Strep, and RSV. Medication and Injections administration. Covid Vaccine administration as needed. Specimen collections. Patient education. Enforcing Clinic Policies and Procedures. Application and education of splints, braces, and crutches. Wound care and education. Code 77 Medical Care and Education, responding to Medical Codes in a timely manner. Order Entries. Provide phlebotomy services when needed. Other duties as assigned High School diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited RN program. Current and valid Oklahoma RN license. 2+ years of clinical experience preferred. BLS CPR Certification. Utilizing a patient-centered, multidisciplinary, medical home approach, Indian Health Care Resource Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, offers a full range of health and wellness services tailored to the Indian community.
