•8:00 PM Approximately 12-28 hours per week Additional shorter shifts may be available during the busy winter season Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse Or Registered Nurse Job Summary Key Personnel is working with a very busy pediatric clinic seeking an outgoing and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with pediatric healthcare experience. The LPN will provide quality patient care while creating a welcoming and positive experience for children and their families. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with pediatric patients, demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability, and thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment. Flexibility with scheduling is important, particularly during the busier winter months. Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse Or Registered Nurse Essential Duties & Responsibilities Room pediatric patients and prepare them for examination by the provider. Provide compassionate, attentive, and professional care to pediatric patients and their families. Assist physicians and clinical staff with examinations, treatments, and procedures. Assist with X-rays and other diagnostic procedures as needed. Collect and assist with processing laboratory specimens. Assist with splinting and other patient-care procedures as directed. Provide nursing care to pediatric patients according to established procedures and clinical standards. Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and routine clinical procedures. Monitor and document patient information accurately. Communicate professionally and compassionately with children, parents, and caregivers. Assist physicians and other clinical staff as needed. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment. Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and applicable healthcare regulations. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements. Provide a positive and welcoming experience for pediatric patients and their families. Work effectively as part of a busy healthcare team. Perform other duties as assigned. Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse Or Registered Nurse Qualifications Current and valid LPN license required. Previous pediatric experience required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Outgoing, friendly, and comfortable working with children. Strong attendance and reliability. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced pediatric clinic. Strong attention to detail and patient-care skills. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and clinic staff. Must be flexible with scheduling, including evenings and weekends. Must be willing to work additional shorter shifts during the busy winter season as needed.
