Overview Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Nurse (LN) specializing in assisted living! In this vital role, you will provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a vibrant senior living community. Your expertise will help promote independence, dignity, and well-being for residents with diverse needs, including those requiring Alzheimer's and dementia care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and support a caring team while ensuring compliance with health regulations and fostering a warm, welcoming environment. Duties Administer medications and treatments accurately following care plans and physician orders as needed Monitor residents' health status, promptly reporting changes or concerns to the healthcare team Develop, implement, and update personalized care plans tailored to each resident's needs Supervise and collaborate with care staff to ensure consistent, compassionate resident care Maintain detailed documentation of nursing activities, medication administration, and resident progress Ensure compliance with long-term care regulations, health policies, and safety standards Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and coordination with families and healthcare providers Skills Proven experience in skilled nursing or assisted living environments with a focus on senior and memory care Strong knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and managing residents with mental health or other complex care needs Excellent leadership skills with supervisory experience managing care teams effectively Proficiency in creating and managing care plans using healthcare best practices Knowledge of health regulation policies relevant to assisted living facilities and residential care homes Competence in medication administration, health regulation compliance, and documentation procedures Ability to utilize Microsoft Office tools for record keeping and communication purposes Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents!
