Job Description
Come experience a rewarding life on the Pacific Coast Established medical service provider seeking a LPN. Position Summary This nursing position provides nursing services to patients & aids the medical director.
Responsibilities:
- Provide basic nursing care and support and encouragement for patients.
- Monitor and record vital records per protocol orders and PRN in EMR.
- Prepare and administer oral medications. Monitor for effectiveness, adverse side effects or rejections.
- Administer basic first aid.
- Keep detailed medical records and MAR using the EMR.
- Scrutinize and follow doctor orders. Ensure that proper orders are written and carried out and documented in the EMR.
- Keep Administrative Director and Doctor on duty current and informed of any medical issues or emergency that may arise.
- Provides age and culturally appropriate care
Qualifications :
- Must hold and maintain current, valid licensure as a LPN in the State of Oregon.
- Knowledge and practice of the Nursing Practice Act as written by the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
- Able to work independently and as a member of team.
- Ability to provide and maintain clinical documentation.
- Ability to practice high level of confidentiality.
