Job Description

LPN - Surgical Care Unit - FT Nights McKenzie-Willamette Medical Center is your community medical provider, serving the Willamette Valley and its residents. Our 113-bed hospital offers inpatient, outpatient, diagnostic, medical, surgical and emergency care. We are a family of caregivers offering care to our larger family — our community.

Hourly Base Rate:
$32.02 - $52.11
Hours:
Night Shift Hours Per Week:
36 hours/week, 12-hour shifts
Job Summary:
The LPN functions as a member of the Patient Care team. Under the direction of an RN, the LPN will collect data regarding a patient's status, record objective and subjective data in an accurate and timely manner and report the data in a timely manner. The LPN will assist the RN in planning and coordinating care, implementation of treatments and interventions and evaluations of aspects of patient care. The LPN accepts responsibility for individual nursing actions, utilizes current standards of practice and follows organizational and departmental policies and procedures using a high level of professional expertise, assuming responsibility for professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
One Year acute care experience highly preferred. Current licensure as LPN, State of Oregon. Current BLS.
