This position provides practical nursing care to individuals with physical, mental, or developmental needs in a hospital setting. The role supports patient health, safety, and well-being through direct care and careful observation. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will perform the following duties:Physical Care:
Assist patients with daily living needs, provide first aid, and support mobility and safe transfersMedication Management:
Administer medications, maintain accurate records, and observe patient responsesProcedural Support:
Prepare patients for procedures, collect specimens, and report changes in conditionPsychosocial Support:
Interact with patients using therapeutic communication and assist with behavioral needsInfection Control:
Follow proper hygiene and sanitation practices to maintain a safe care environmentDocumentation:

Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $68,914.00 (before taxes). Necessary Special Requirements:
This position requires active authorization to practice as a Licensed Practice Nurse in Pennsylvania. All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.Other Requirements:
PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title. If you are within 60 days of completing a licensed practical nursing program approved by the State Board of Nursing, you are eligible to apply for this job posting. At the time of appointment to a position, you must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Licensed Practical Nurse license. You must be able to perform essential job functions.Legal Requirements:
