Join WCS Healthcare Partners as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Behavioral Health, where you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care and support to patients with behavioral health needs. This role offers flexible hours with a minimum of 10 hours guaranteed each week, extending up to 20 hours. You will work in a dynamic environment, ensuring the well-being and recovery of patients through direct care and collaboration with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

Organizing and preparing exam rooms, with knowledge of medication, pre-op, and post-op steps. Providing surgical assistance and maintaining medication control lists. Documenting accurately and timely information regarding patient conditions. Direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses. Demonstrate the ability to maintain an efficient pace in the OR to avoid delays and ensure rapid room turnover. Facilitates and ensures patient preparedness for surgery. Communicates and prioritizes efficiently and effectively. Assist the anesthesia provider during the induction and emergence from anesthesia.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Active RN license in the state of practice (or willingness to obtain). BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Minimum 2 years of clinic or ambulatory care experience preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
