Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Bring your passion for nursing to a supportive school environment and make a positive impact on students' health and well-being. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) working on a contract basis in a school setting, you'll play a key role in providing care, support, and health education to students and staff. If you are detail-oriented, adaptable, and enjoy working with children and adolescents, this opportunity offers the chance to grow your skills in a dynamic educational community.
Qualifications:
Valid LPN license in the state of Pennsylvania Current CPR/BLS certification Previous experience in school, pediatric, or community health settings is preferred Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple health concerns in a fast-paced environment Compassionate and reliable, with a commitment to student safety
Responsibilities:
Administer daily medications and treatments as prescribed Deliver first aid and respond to health emergencies Maintain accurate student health records and documentation Assist in managing chronic health conditions (e.g., diabetes, asthma) for students Provide health education and promote wellness among students and staff Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care Help enforce infection control and safety protocols within the school This contract role offers a unique, rewarding experience for LPNs seeking a meaningful position outside of traditional clinical settings.
