This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' lives, supporting a welcoming community near Hanover, PA. In this position, you'll work 35 hours per week supporting two nearby schools. Flexibility is key, as you'll travel between campuses—located just minutes apart—to ensure consistent, compassionate care where it's needed most.
Key Qualifications:
Active LPN or LVN licensure required Prior pediatric or school nursing experience strongly preferred Comfort supporting students with complex medical needs, including spina bifida and diabetes Ability to multitask between health office duties and individualized student support Collaborative spirit with a strong sense of responsibility and advocacy
What You'll Do:
Partner with the school nurse to manage daily health office tasks and respond to student needs as they arise Step in as a substitute PCA/1:1 support staff for three students when coverage is needed, offering direct care and assistance Provide health guidance and medication administration in accordance with school policies Adapt routines to respond to evolving medical and educational requirements across school sites This assignment is perfect for someone who is dependable, compassionate, and ready to support students' well-being in a lively educational setting.
