Job Description

Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a clinical setting. As an LPN, you will work under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, assisting in various medical tasks and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care. Your role will be crucial in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional healthcare services. Responsibilities
  • Take vital signs on all medical patients before their appointment with the prescriber.
  • Monitor the medication request line by retrieving messages from the voicemail and following through with the requests.
  • Work closely with the prescriber daily to ensure that all the needs of the prescriber and patient are met.
  • Be the primary contact for all clients who have medical or medication needs.
  • Manage and supply all sample medications.
  • Work with pharmacy representatives to keep adequate samples and pamphlets available for prescribers and patients.
  • Reviews physician's orders, lab requests, or follow-up needs with patient.
  • Follows up with patients on lab results, including the scheduling of any additional tests.
  • Administer injections to patients if needed.
  • Be administrative assistant back up if needed.
