Category Schools - LPN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the 2026-27 school year as a dedicated LPN supporting students' health and wellbeing! Contribute your expertise near New Oxford, PA, working with school populations that value your compassion and clinical skills.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Current, active LPN/LVN licensure in Pennsylvania Previous nursing experience in a school, pediatric, or similar setting preferred Flexible and adaptable—able to work across two nearby school sites as needed Comfortable providing care for students with complex needs, including spina bifida and diabetes Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-focused approach Reliable, organized, able to manage multiple responsibilities smoothly
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the lead school nurse in daily clinic operations including triage, medication administration, and health documentation Offer medical care and support to students throughout the school day, promoting a safe environment Serve as a substitute 1:1 support professional (PCA) for three students with medical needs when coverage is necessary Navigate between two schools within a 10-minute travel radius, supporting district requirements Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and families This is a full-time, 35-hour-per-week contract position, aligning with the academic calendar from August 19, 2026, through May 26, 2027.
