Starting Rate:

$37.00

We will compensate at a rate that meets or exceeds the Department of Labor's established Wage Determination, with the potential for higher pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, market conditions, and contract-specific requirements.

Licensed Practical Nurse

  • 13 week assignments with potential extensions
    About the Project/Clinic
    Cross Keys Village is a well established Long Term Care facility operating in New Oxford PA.

Staff will be expected to follow instructions from assigned supervisors and perform assigned tasks in a professional manner.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Performs nursing functions within scope of LPN licensure
  • Strong LPN skills required
  • Works closely with all members of the nursing team and must have the ability to adapt to changing day to day environment/clinical settings
  • Administering medications and treatments in compliance with federal, state, local, and facility policies
  • Maintaining confidentiality and rights of residents, family, employee, and facility information in compliance with HIPPA policies and applicable regulations
  • Interacting cooperatively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff
  • Remain up to date on best practices and conduct research on resiliency in the long-term care setting, using the results to inform the development and implementation of best practices across the program.
  • The job duties are flexible and subject to change depending upon operational needs
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Must be able to multi-task, be detail-oriented, be organized and have excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work on a team.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Must be able to successfully complete the AMI Credentialing Process.
  • Proficiency in technology including Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Office.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a variety of stakeholders including long term care facilities, community members, and AMI clinicians, program managers
Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Long Term Care Communities, not all of which is Agency
  • Minimum 2 years of healthcare experience.
  • Experience providing health education and training
  • Active unrestricted Pennsylvania license/certification.
Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to work in a safe manner following all safety rules and regulations. Must work as a team member to improve safety culture and quality.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English.
  • Active and unrestricted driver's license.
  • Must be willing to drive with others to site visits.
  • Must be willing to work at the office location.
