Our team is committed to enhancing the quality of life for those we serve, and we are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing staff and ensure exceptional care standards.
Position Overview:
The Director of Nursing will be responsible for overseeing all nursing operations within our assisted living facility. This role involves leading the nursing team, ensuring compliance with regulations, developing care plans, and fostering a culture of compassion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and mentor the nursing staff to deliver high-quality care. Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and industry standards. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and update individualized care plans. Conduct regular assessments of resident health needs and adjust care plans as necessary. Oversee medication management and coordinate with pharmacy services. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality. Provide training and support for nursing staff, promoting ongoing education and development. Act as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers. Address and resolve any resident or staff concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
Qualifications:
Current state nursing license (LPN) in good standing. Minimum of [5] years of nursing experience, with [2] years in a leadership role, preferably in assisted living or long-term care. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and best practices in nursing care. Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Compassionate and dedicated to enhancing the lives of residents.
