PRN LPN/RN - WASHINGTON
Washington, PA Apply Description Gateway Rehab Center (GRC) is looking for a PRN LPN or RN for our Washington, PA location. Schedule will be 3pm-11pm and 7pm-11pm. Our nurses provide direct patient nursing care which includes administering medication and carrying out therapeutic treatments. Responsibilities Administers medications. Carries out prescribed therapeutic treatments. Documents nursing observations and patient care rendered. Participates in the planning, implementing, and evaluating of nursing care. Intervenes in crises and other emergency situations and provides admission phone triage. Coordinates with all GRC departments as appropriate. Provides patient health education. Completes employee health duties. Intervenes in crises for all GRC departments during off hours. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Must be skilled and physically able to perform necessary medical interventions when needed. Must demonstrate good judgement, decision making and leadership skills necessary to take responsibility for nursing-related patient care. Requirements LPN or RN Licensure. CPR certified. Preferred Requirements 2 years nursing experience Critical Care experience Additional Requirements Pass PA Criminal Background Check Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances Pass Drug 2-Step TB Test Valid driver's license with favorable driving record. CPR certification. Work Conditions Substance use disorder treatment center. Able to lift upwards of 20 lbs.
