Join UPMC's outpatient Urology team in Williamsport as a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and enjoy the work-life balance you've been looking for. This position offers a consistent Monday through Friday schedule between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., with no weekends or major holidays . Purpose:

Provides professional nursing care to office patients under supervision of patient care providers.

Responsibilities:

Draw blood. Administer medications, including oral, SQ, IM, and IV drip therapies. Perform IV therapy under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments. Assess patients' general condition, including vital signs and weight. Promote wellness through patient education and by communicating physician instructions and recommendations. Document patient care activities, interventions, responses, and medications in the medical record. Maintain strict confidentiality of medical records and patient information. Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, including those established by OSHA, CLIA, and the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Occasionally travel to the Lewisburg office.
