Senior Home Care | Home Matters Caregiving of MetroBoston West Make a Real Difference Every Day We are seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Nurse who is equally passionate about senior care and building strong community relationships. This role blends hands- on clinical leadership with outreach and education efforts to support our mission and expand our impact. As a nurse at Home Matters, you'll play a central role in delivering nurse-guided care—providing direct client support and mentoring caregivers to ensure consistent, personalized care. In addition, you'll engage with referral sources and help position Home Matters as a trusted resource for families and partners seeking exceptional home care solutions. Key Responsibilities Clinical Oversight and Nurse Leadership Communicate with client and families regarding client medication requirements Delegate nursing tasks to caregivers Teach appropriate nursing tasks to caregivers Provide ongoing training on medication administration and nursing tasks Responsible for nursing assessments Be available to provide supervision and direction to caregivers Maintain knowledge of current regulations governing nurse practice and delegation. Scheduling & Office Management Manage all incoming calls and answer phones in a friendly, professional attitude Check email and phone messages Be knowledgeable of company Policies and Procedures Be knowledgeable of services provided by our agency to manage prospects Manage caregiver/client schedules for all clients utilizing software Update caregiver schedules Send daily report of activity and follow up needed Assist with managing caregiving team on daily basis Perform other duties as instructed by the Administrator Qualifications and Education Current unencumbered Massachusetts LPN license Able to communicate effectively both verbally, and in writing Prior experience in the Home Care field, either In Home Care or Home Health Prior management experience, specifically coaching and motivating employees Experience with delegation of nursing tasks to unlicensed persons Experience with geriatric population Experience teaching and training caregivers or CNA's Flexible Schedule Valid drivers license and reliable transportation Experience with intakes and initial assessments of prospective clients Experience and comfortable with presenting in a large group setting Knowledge of In Home care rules and regulations What We Offer Competitive salary Retirement plan Supportive, flexible team culture Opportunity to lead in a purpose-driven organization
